Water Supply Systems

ZW(L) Vertical Constant-Pressure Equipment

The ZW(L) series fire-fighting pressure-boosting and stabilizing equipment is a specialized, stationary fire-extinguishing water supply system designed in accordance with the Ministry of Public Security standard GA 20, "Performance Requirements and Test Methods for Fire-Fighting Pneumatic Water Supply Equipment," as well as the national standard 98S25. The product line encompasses two main configurations: the ZW(L) (vertical) series and the ZWW (horizontal) series. Each unit consists of a pressure-stabilizing pump, a pneumatic pressure tank, a control cabinet, instrumentation, and piping accessories. This equipment is widely used in both multi-story and single-story building projects to provide pressure boosting and stabilization for fire hydrant water supply systems. When no fire emergency is present and the system is in automatic operating mode, pressure sensors installed on the fire-fighting piping network sample the water pressure, convert these readings into electrical signals, and transmit them to a PID controller. By regulating the number of pumps in operation (starting or stopping them as needed), the system maintains the water pressure within the fire-fighting network at a pre-set, constant value. This ensures that the minimum required fire-fighting pressure is upheld, keeping the entire system in a state of readiness for a potential fire emergency.
