Diaphragm Pressure Tank

Diaphragm-type pressure tanks feature either standard or custom designs, utilize standardized welding techniques, and are equipped with air-replenishment and venting mechanisms. Their surfaces are finished using advanced coating technology. These tanks offer numerous advantages, including a wide pressure-resistance range, high corrosion resistance, ease of operation and maintenance, and safe, reliable performance. They are widely used in pressurized water supply systems and pressure-boosting/stabilizing water supply installations. A diaphragm-type pressure tank is an energy-storage device consisting of a steel outer shell and an internal rubber diaphragm. This diaphragm completely separates the water chamber from the air chamber. When pressurized water enters the tank, the air sealed inside is compressed; in accordance with Boyle’s Law, the volume of the gas decreases while its pressure increases, thereby storing energy. As the compressed gas subsequently expands, it exerts pressure on the rubber diaphragm, forcing the water out of the tank.
